Target Haul!

Hello guys! I recently went to my local Target for bobby pins, and $35 dollars later, I came out with all this stuff! So I thought I would share what I picked up with you guys! I just have to say though, before you delve into this any further, the weather in Texas has been miserable! It's like Happy First Day of Spring, let's rain everyday! Which the rain does not make for nice pictures, so I used artificial lights in my room to take these pictures on this post. I know it's not the prettiest thing to look at, but just bear with me here :)

I am going to break this post up by the categories I bought stuff in. First off, I will start with the lip products I purchased!

When I first started playing with makeup, I was never much of a lip person. I thought it looked weird on me, and I had no desire to play with it. Now, I am very interested in lip stuff! So I stocked up on some colors in order to shake up my current collection! Most of the lip products are red, because that's my current color obsession. But there are some other colors in the mix.

I picked up two of the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks. I picked the shades 01 and 107. The 01 is more of a fall red. It isn't the classic bright red that you might see Taylor Swift wearing, but it''s a red that you might have seen someone in the 20's wearing. I don't know how to describe it other than it has a little orange in it. The 107, however, is a berry shade. If you are a fan of Zoella like I am, you might know that this is one of her favorite lipsticks. A friend of mine and I were geeking out the other day about this lipstick. If you're reading this: Hi Laura! Shoutout to Laura! But yeah, both of these lipsticks have amazing pigment to it! It goes on very easily, and with great color. It's definitely a great lipstick to have, in my opinion.

Staying with the Rimmel theme, I also picked up the Rimmel Show Off lip creme in the shade Meteoric Matte. If you have ever played with a NYX lip cream, this is very similar to that. It is a plum color. I really like this for days where you want to play up a dramatic look. It is really nice on the lips. The only thing about this product for me, was it that fades kind of quickly. But maybe I caused that. I am not quite sure, I will have to keep playing with it and see if it happens again.

Switching it up a bit, I picked up a Revlon lipgloss in the shade Fatal Apple. When I got it, I thought it was going to be more pigmented than it was. It wasn't very pigmented. It almost goes on sheer, but with a little bit of red to it. Plus it's a little sticky for my taste. Not saying it's a bad product, it just wasn't what I was looking for. But I am sure I can use this to give some shine to any red lipstick I own.

Lastly, for this section, I picked up two Chunky Colors by LA Colors. These were only $2 each, so I decided to give them a try. They are actually a lot more pigmented than I thought they were going to be. For being so cheap, I thought it was going to go on really slightly. But it didn't, so I was happy about that! The only thing is that when you're applying these things to your lips, it has a very fragrant smell of plastic. If that turns you off, then it might be a problem for you. But I don't mind as much, so I will continue to use them.

I always love getting liquid eyeliners! I really have difficulties with any kind of eyeliners, so liquid is my favorite way to go if I want eyeliner. I have loved the ELF one for a while, so I picked up another one. It never disappoints me, so I will continue to use it until they stop making it! :) But really, it goes on so well and with consistency, so I am loyal to this specific eyeliner.

I also decided to try to LA Colors eyeliner because I saw that it was only like $1.50. Not even the ELF one is that cheap. So I thought, even if I don't like it, I only lost $1.50. But if I liked it, I can continue to get it. I haven't had a chance to play with this one yet, but I will keep you guys posted on this product.

Now the last category is a bit random, and I opened both of the products before realizing I need a picture for this part of the post. Whoops! Girls need their bobby pins ASAP! XD But I bought some black hair ties, because you never have enough of them! I know I lose them so fast, so I always need to get more. As well as that, I got some bobby pins by ConAir. They are black as well, because you can't go wrong with black bobby pins!

I hope you guys enjoyed my first ever haul post! Thanks so much for reading this today!

Question Time! Have you gone shopping recently? What have you picked up?

I'll see you guys on Thursday with a brand new post! And if you haven't already, check out a guest post I did over at Petals Of Perfection! I did a review on the Roller Lash mascara by Benefit! Here's the link
