Hey guys! It's been WAYYY too long since I have filmed a Youtube video! So I hope you guys don't mind my rusty skills XD. In this video, I'm just sharing how I do a really basic makeup look, while talking through some new products I've been loving. I hope you enjoy :)
Hey guys! I am back after a little break! You guys know how it goes: School starts and I get a little less routine in my blogging game. I am so sorry, but I am trying to get back into my groove. So I thought it would be great to start back with a little review!
Today I am going to review the Carli Babel eyeshadow and highlighter palette. I have actually had this palette for some time now, but I really didn't make much use of this palette up until about three weeks ago. So now that I have had some time to really play with this palette, I felt like I could give a good review of it.
Here's what the palette looks like:
(Excuse the dirty mirror)
This palette is filled with neutral, yet romantic shades. It's a warm toned palette for sure. You get a little of the cool tone with the plum colors and the matte brown, but overall, the eyeshadows are warm. You get 10 eyeshadows as well as 4 highlighters, all for $14. I got my palette from Ulta, so I don't know if it's cheaper on the BH Cosmetics site.
Let's start with the eyeshadows!
Here is what the eyeshadows look like. I will say that in this palette, the shimmers really stand out. I think it's because the focus was on shimmery makeup, which was why they included highlighters. But the shimmers are so much more pigmented than the matte shades. As well, the consistency is much more consistent with the shimmer shades, which isn't always true with the matte shades in this palette. The shimmers, however, have a lot more fallout than the matte shades, so that is something to consider.
Now for the highlighters:
The highlighters in this palette are so pigmented! To be honest, I only use three of the highlights because the far right one is too dark to be a highlighter on me. Even the gold can be a little too much for my skin tone: I usually mix that one with the second highlighter to get a nice champaigne color. But my ride or die highlighter in this palette is the second one. It is so good, and has the most beautiful finish on the skin. It's a little rosy, but not so rosy that it looks like a blush. If you follow me on Twitter, last week I tweeted myself wearing this highlighter. (If you don't, I'm @tiffanychill10)
I will say that the highlighters have a lot of fallout as well as the shimmery eyeshadows. But overall, the crowning jewel of this palette is the shimmers. If you are someone looking for a neutral, romantic looking palette with rich shimmers, then this is your kind of palette! However, I would recommend using another palette for like a crease and transitional shade.
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed my little review. If you have this palette, then let me know your thoughts in the comment section! As well, if you aren't subscribed to my blog, then you should totally subscribe :)
Hey guys! I am back with a new video! I am doing a new favorites video, so I hope you guys enjoy :) If you are not currently subscribed to my Youtube channel, please subscribe!
Hey guys! I am back today with an obsession of mine! I am known to fall deeply in love with a trend from time to time, and this time, it's with neutral pinks. They are usually named something to do with spice, just because it is a spicy pink, but to me, they are more neutral than anything else.
I love this shade because I think it matches my skin tone amazingly! I love this color on my lips, on my nails, and in clothing! Down below, I have featured my personal favorites in this trend. I tend to use these more than anything else! So I hope you enjoy :)
Milani Lipstick in Naturally Chic
Maybelline Lipstick in Summer Sunset
Sonia Kashuk Nail Polish in Spice It Up
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you have a great day, and I will see you guys tomorrow!
Hello guys! Today's post is going to be more festive than my previous posts so far. I figured with it being so close to Christmas, I wanted to do some festive posts! I don't really want a lot for Christmas, just because I am the kind of person that usually gets what I want, so sometimes shopping for me can get kind of difficult! But there are some things that I want and that I don't currently have.
Here they are!
A Plush Robe
In the winter time, I like to bundle up! I can become such a baby about the cold, so I tend to wear multiple layers! The one thing my closet is missing the most is a nice plush robe! I picked this one from Forever 21. It looks so cozy, plus, the hood is a hamster! How adorable! It is also on the cheaper side of robes, costing only $30. This just looks so perfect for a cozy night in.
Tan Ankle Boots
I love wearing boots with a heel. I am personally too short to pull off the flat boots, so I tend to go for boots with a heel. I currently have a black pair, and a taupe-y colored pair. The one I would really like to add to my collection is a pair of tan boots! Tan is such a cool neutral color, and I think it could go with a lot of my clothes. Plus it would add variety to my shoe collection, seeing as though most of my shoes are black XD These are from H&M and they are only $35! Such a great deal!
Sephora Gift Card
Seeing as though I do not have a Sephora near me, I really like shopping on Sephora's online store. Plus I love everything beauty, so a gift card to Sephora would be perfect! There are a lot of products that are not available at Ulta, but are at Sephora. And you can never go wrong with a giftcard :)
That is my Christmas wishlist! I hope you guys are having a very festive Christmas season! Thanks so much for reading :)

So I have a new video, and this one is all about products I have used up! I have been collecting (hoarding) these items for a couple months for the sake of this video, so I went ahead and filmed it! I hope you enjoy :)
Thanks so much for watching, and I will see you guys tomorrow!
Hello guys! As you may or may not know, I have oily skin. I normally like having oily skin, because of its natural glowing look. But there are times when I can tell my face looks like a slip and slide. So when that happens, I have my trusty blotting sheets! So today I wanted to talk about why I love blotting sheets! I hope you enjoy :)
Blotting sheets are used for when your face, or any part of your body really, gets oily. Blotting those areas gets rid of excess oils and helps to make it look more natural and matte. I go through like 5 in one sitting because of how oily I am. But really that could be less if you happen to only get oily in your T-zone, or you catch it before it looks really gross. I happen to never catch it until I look gross, so that's why I go through so many! XD
What I love most about blotting sheets is that they are relatively inexpensive! I got one set from Ulta for like $3, and the other set at Marshall's for like $2. They are usually inexpensive, and can really help a look.
Blotting sheets are amazing if you have combination to oily skin. If you are more dry, you probably will never need these. But I know that some people get oily in their T zone only, so this is still perfect for you! I make sure to always keep a pack in my purse because you never know when the oils will attack your face.
Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you found it informative. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post, because it's gonna be a good one :)
Hey guys! I hope you are enjoying these daily blog posts! It is quite fun coming up with new stuff everyday. I feel like I am more creative when I have a daily deadline as opposed to a weekly deadline. That might seem counter-intuitive, but is proving true for me! Today I am going to share with you my newest mascara obsession. I know I probably always have a new mascara that I am in love with, but mascara is my favorite beauty product! I am always switching it up, and trying new mascaras. I can get quite fussy with mascara, so when I find one I like, I tend to only use that mascara.
My newest mascara obsession is the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Intenza mascara. This mascara caught my eye the other day while I was at the store because of it's bristle. This bristle looked amazing from the package. I am a sucker for a lot of bristles on mascaras, so this one certainly caught my attention fast!
So I bought it and immediately tried it on. Needless to say, it was love at first application. This mascara goes on like a dream. All of your lashes are separated and nicely volumized! I think that's a word, but even if it isn't, I am sure you guys know what I mean :).
After about three coats, your lashes look long and full of volume. Plus, the formula isn't too heavy, so I find it is quite a wearable, day-to-day mascara. If you want more drama, all you need to do is apply more coats, and then you have gorgeous and dramatic lashes. It is very diverse.
The L'Oreal mascaras I have tried have all been amazing. I love their formulas because none of the mascaras are too heavy, so it is nice to apply and wear. Plus you can find them at the drugstore, or at the supermarket, so it is on the cheaper side of makeup! This is a great mascara to add to your mascara collection. Or if you are on the lookout for a new mascara, I would say give this one a shot!
Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you enjoyed this post! See you guys tomorrow!
