Blogiversary!!!

Today's post is very special to me: It is my one year anniversary of blogging :) I love having something that is mine to take care of. Even though I have been a little inconsistent, I do truly love blogging and writing in general. Today's post is going to be a little sappy, so if you don't like that kind of stuff, come back tomorrow for a new post. But now is my chance to be a sappy goose, so I am going to take full advantage of it!

When I first tried blogging like years ago, I wasn't ready to blog seriously. I wrote about random things and at random times, and it just didn't feel right. I have always wanted to blog, but I just couldn't find my voice. Plus I struggled with a blog name and a blog theme, so those things made it hard to find my voice and find where I fit in the blogging world. But like I mentioned earlier, blogging was something I always wanted to do.

Then something happened that I am not going to discuss, because it is deeply personal. But this thing taught me that life is too short to not go after everything and anything you have ever wanted. I became empowered by this thing, and I decided to not dwell in my thoughts. I started picking up things that I would have never imagined myself doing, like learning to take pictures, or delving into the wonderful world of makeup! I never really played with makeup, but it was always something that intrigued me. And with that empowerment, I was going to do the one thing I always wanted to do: I decided to make my blog official.

I quickly found my voice and what I wanted to write about. I knew that I couldn't just write about makeup though. I had to write about life, because it is something that I love to observe and delve deeper into. I know I haven't really gotten that deep on here, but I do plan on it one day. I am just taking this one day at a time, but I can honestly say I am proud that I have kept my blog for this long.

The greatest thing I have learned during this time of taking the blog seriously is to go after what you want with full force. By not only getting serious blogging, but as well getting into the blogging community, I have met some amazing people, and made friends with them. I love the blogging community. It really is a nice group of people if you ever get the chance to meet some of them. I know I am not a huge blogger by any means, but I have made friends from this blog, and that itself is a present.

To those of you out there reading this, I hope you take away just one thing from this post; Go after what you want. Life is too short to contemplate "What if's?" Now is as good a time as ever, so go for it. Whether that is blogging, or trying out for a team, or working harder in classes. You can amaze yourself with what you are capable of.

I know, sappy Tiffany is done! I hope you enjoyed the post though. Thanks so much for reading, and thanks so much for one year!!! I can't believe it's been a year!

See you tomorrow for an all new post :)
